My Three Long Term Projects

They have all been playing together lately which makes me happy for so many reasons. The biggest being less work for me. Not really, the real reason I love it is I grew up without siblings(I have two bros from my dad's 2nd marriage and they rock but they came in the picture when I was already a teenager.) I really missed having someone to plays with lots of days. My cousin Julie and I would schedule our 'fake sick' days on the same day and then play via the phone all day. I also dig that someday, when they think hubs and I are crazy and overbearing or whatever it is they'll think about us when they are grown, they'll at least have someone to commiserate with who knows where their coming from.

One of the main reasons why I will have another child is because they entertain each other. My sister has two boys (6 and 4) and they are the best of friends.

And when they grow older, you can let the oldest child drive the others around. That's how my mother didn't kill me and my brother during our teenage years.

My boys are 15 months apart-- they've always played together-- but have always felt the need to have me in the mix. Finally last month I was like-- go play without mommy-- leave me alone... and guess what, THEY DID. Yippie for me. And yippie for you!

good on you, I really didn't like being an only child. the second one is easier too b/c they help.
Go get me a diaper, go tell daddy I need a bottle, watch your sister while I make din...ah, cheap child labour.

oooh, good idea. My mom leverage my desire to drive to get me to do tons of stuff, grocery shopping, filking her car with gas,car wash. She'd let me take her car and keep the change from any purchase and I'd a few extra pulls around the block and take the long way home for sure.

yeah, now you can have moe omputer time:)
