To Boldly Go Where No Bebe Has Gone Before

The bebe doesn't watch too much tv but every day occasionally I'll bribe the big kids with a movie if they'll watch her so I can get stuff done. On many days, when my husband gets home from work, he'll take over with the bebe while I go make dinner. He's a big Star Trek fan and right around the time he comes home, Star Trek is on. I don't know which of the tv series it is but the bebe has seen it so many times she gets excited and dances when the intro comes on. I also on occasion have been known to hum it to her when I rock her at night, I shouldn't do it because hubs is doing a good enough job turning her into a nerd baby but I can't resist the big toothy smile she flashes me.

She's all like,"put on the Trek beeotch, I'm wait-ting."

Dude, be careful, or she's one day going to end up dressing as Zombie Kirk for Halloween. For future reference: Klingon costumes, good ones, are wicked expensive, in adult size. I'm not sure about toddler size.

I still get a gummy smile. His Mum is obsessed with Z getting teeth, but I'll miss the gummy smile when he finally does.

Great video! I don't know what nerdiness I'll pass to Z, but I'm sure there's plenty!

You can quote me and use this against me later on. "I will be the first to volunteer my services for free photography at her wedding IF she has a klingon wedding".
'ghIlghameS paghmo tIn mIS' I don't think that says 'I Do' in Klingon, but I'm sure it'll be something similar.

bluestreak, I guess nerd is kind of chic right now no? Gosh I hope so.

Captain Steve, I am already certain there are Star Trek halloween costumes in our future. I was going to surprise hubs and dress as 6 of 9 or 7 of 9, whatever her name is but my thighs don't look good in a full body leotard. And how may I ask are you familiar with Klingon Kostume kost? The good ones no less?

Gypsy,isn't she cute? Want her?
(Just kidding hubs, I am NOT trying to give the bebe away. Again.)

AFreeman- I was soooo excited when she got her 2 bottom teeth(the only one she had) I don't know what it is about them. The Trek, it's their together thing so I'm happy for it, but you'd think he'd make me watch it less, which hasn't happened.

Greenbean-
I am so holding you to your word because your pictures rock the casbah. Hubs and I were just saying the other night that we wish we would have had you at our wedding in hindsight, but at least we got our nifty book yeah!!
Just so you know, I announced to hubs tonight that you are officially my favorite of his friends, feel special?

remember, she has to be in "full Klingon regalia, replete with the funny forehead extensions".

aww I feel warm in fuzzy inside. I'm on the 'out of all yer friends he's my favorite one' list from 2 separate people now. yaay! I think it must be my cologne. GL in vegas...and try to not bring back a baby!
